1. Buy BTC
It may seem odd, but before you buy EPIC, you’ll need to buy BTC first. The reason? You’re still very early and there is no way to buy EPIC directly with fiat money. This feature is coming, but until then, please follow the instructions below.
You can buy BTC on many exchanges, the video here shows instructions for buying BTC with Coinbase – other exchanges such as Kraken, Gemini or Binance could be used instead.
Before buying BTC, make sure that you can transfer it from the exchange to another wallet or address. Some exchanges and providers do not allow this.
2. Buy EPIC using ViteX, ChangeNOW, or Coinstore
After purchasing BTC, the next step is to buy EPIC on one of the exchanges supporting EPIC Cash. You can store your EPIC on the exchange wallets, or you can transfer it to our EPIC Pay mobile or desktop app.
We’ll provide you with an example in the video of how to do this on ViteX.
